Some of the best practices I’ve found for staying focused actually involve giving yourself a break from focusing and taking some time to do something that feels relaxing or simply gives your pleasure.
- Going for a walk
- Calling a friend or
- Savoring a cup of tea
If you find yourself having a difficult time staying focused, maybe it’s time to take a break and refresh before getting back after it?
How about spending between 5 and 30 minutes today giving one of these practices a try?
